Philosophy

Taking your pain seriously, recognizing the cause and then developing a quick and consistent treatment concept is a joint process. The success of my conservative treatment depends on how your body feels, and your biofeedback allows us to work together as a team.

Multimodal measures such as individual injection treatments, shock waves, segmental manipulation or acupuncture in the interdisciplinary company of a physiotherapist and fitness trainer bring many of my patients back to pain-free movement.

As a team doctor in the German Athletics Association, I was fascinated by the direct treatment approach to injured athletes as early as 1997 and still am today. Together with Prof. Dr. Birnesser, I practised conservative sports orthopaedics and injury prevention in the decathlon team for many years.

Since 2001, this experience has been incorporated into high-speed sport in the Coast, Bianchi, Phonak and Astana cycling teams, as well as into the care of various soccer teams.

You feel the problem during sport, sometimes even in everyday life. It's becoming more and more present, you've looked it up on Google and can perhaps name it, but you don't know what you need to do to become pain-free again - that's where my team and I come in.

Many treatment models from the world of sport also benefit normal patients. For example, we now know that regular exercise can help prevent joint degeneration, obesity, lipometabolic disorders, diabetes and high blood pressure.

People who exercise regularly and without overdoing it reduce oxidative stress, are less sensitive to pain and age more slowly.

My treatment is designed to help you get there and free you from pain.
